Welcome!

Hello family and friends, welcome to our new family blog. Erik is 19 months now and I can't  believe how fast he has grown up. I feel the time has gone way to fast! Many of you have enjoyed watching him grow from just a small baby to a little boy in a very short period of time. I am with him every day and I can not believe all the changes in just a short 19 months. This is why I wanted to start a family blog. I want to document him growing and changing so that I will never forget all the small precious moments we have each day. This Christmas I received a DSLR camera and I have enjoyed taking so many pictures of Erik. 1619 photos to be exact have been taken since December 7th {I got my xmas gift early and talked Joe into giving it to me as soon as the package arrived he he}. Starting on January 1st I have been taking a picture a day {OK several} but the project is 1 picture a day for 365 days. I will share with you my favorite photos and little notes about what we are up to each day. My goal will be to document our adventures and create life long memories. I love to take pictures and my goal is to become better as the year goes by however; I have to remember that is is not about the perfect picture it is about creating a photo that captures the moment and memories. I recently went thru some old pictures of Joe and I from our childhood and I was reminded of so many great times that I would have otherwise forgotten. And trust me most of the pictures were BAD quality but perfect for remembering great times.
