Erik & Rowan VS Joe

Swing Play

3-13-2012

Dad and Erik are in the backyard playing on our new swing set. Dad came home from work and took Erik outside to play in beautiful weather we are having.

Na Na Na Na Na BATMAN!

3-11-12

Wow I can not believe that Erik is already riding a big boy bike. I remember when Nana came over with a bright red, orange and yellow bike for Erik and he was not even walking yet. I thought, oh my, do we have to hold on to this bike for 3 years before he can ride it? Well no we did not! 21 months and he is ready to ride!

Dad wanted to make Erik's bike into a Batman bike. WOW did Dad do a good job! He painted it and put Batman decals on the bike. I wish I had a before picture so you could see what a big change the bike has had.

This is Erik's "I am going FAST" Face:)

Why Batman? Well, Joe had a little Batman from his childhood and Nana saved it. She gave it to Erik and now it is Erik's favorite toy. He takes it everywhere and loves holding onto it.

See the Batman in his hand?
Erik goes for his first bike ride with Dad.

Erik Loves his bath tub fun! He is a fish that is jumping over the tub to get in and never wants to get out. After I take all the water out of the tub he lays in the bottom of the tub and will not get out.

Today we went to dinner with Brad and Traci Adams at Jason's Deli. We love hanging out with good friends and they always have so much fun with Erik. Brad and Erik were doing head bumps and playing games all thru dinner. They could not even stop for the picture but that makes for a good pictures becouse that is exactly what they were doing all night long.

We love you both! xoxo

Lied Discovery Children’s Museum!

Saturday, January 7th 2012

Today we went to the Leid Discovery Children's Musemum with Markelle, Aubrye and Braxston. Wow we had so much fun! I remember going to the same Musemum when I was a child and it was so neat to take my son there as well.

The kids went shopping, worked on cars, flew an airplane and blew bubbles. After the the museum we went to lunch at CPK in Town Square.

Give Me The Camera!

Friday, January 6th 2012

Erik is loving all his pictures! I am sure most of you know but he is such a "Ham". The second day I got my camera he started saying "CHEESE" and now he says it all the time even when my phone is out and he thinks I may be taking a photo. I am one lucky girl that Erik always wants his picture taken:) Also, his new thing is that he wants to see the pictures on my camera when we are done. {Like all my girl friends when we go out} lol

Villalobos Cousins Rick and Daniel with Erik

Started Early With My 365 Day Project 12-28 / 12-31

December 28th

I found Erik sitting in his toy bucket watching TV.

December 29th

Erik is eating his FAVORITE food. {Cottage Cheese} This kid could eat this every day all day!

December 30th

Uncle Tino came over to watch the UFC fight with Joe and the night would not be complete without some UFC moves on Erik.

December 31st

Erik is learning how to ride a tricycle my mom and I bought at the swap meet. $20.00 and he had so much fun on it the entire day of shopping.

Mt Charleston Family Snow Day 12-26-11

Joe and I were set on going to play in the snow at Mt. Charleston. We were both packing the car for our day trip and when we left we had the entire car full!

Erik had...
2 - Jackets
2 - Hats
2 - Gloves
4 - Pair of Socks
PJ's, an extra set of clothes and the list goes on and on... However; once we got all the way to the top of Mt. Charleston what did we forget for our family snow day?

Shoes! That is right we had no shoes for Erik. We had put him in the car without shoes so that he could nap and shoes never made it into the truck. So what does dad do????

He puts two pair of socks on his feet, wraps them in a plastic zip lock bag, duck tapes them on and then added two more pair of socks!

Dad drove him in the snow with his 4x4 dump truck

Then dad set him up with some of his own snow in the truck bed so his feet would not get cold in the snow.

Dad was giving Ginger some love for protecting us in the mountains:)
